The Grand presents
Concerts By Car

A Night of The Beatles
by The Rock Orchestra
Friday, July 3rd, 7:00pm

Zoomed out? Hungry for some live entertainment?

As The Grand Opera House waits to reopen safely, they’re bringing The Grand to you outdoors, with Wilmington’s first-ever drive-in concert!

Jill and Matt join The Rock Orchestra, as they bring their vocal and multi-instrumental skills to this 90-minute career-spanning show of The Beatles’ music.

Bring a car load of family or friends to hear AND see The Rock Orchestra perform an evening of fabulous Beatles tunes live, in person, from a safe and comfortable distance.

The Grand has worked with their partners to create a safe, comfortable, high-quality experience that will blend the special joy of a live concert, the vibe of a drive-in movie, and the charms of a summer evening outdoors.  We are thrilled to be a part of this event, as we present a catalog-spanning set list of Beatles tunes.

Capacity is limited, so be among the first to share in this unique concert experiment that we intend to be the beginning of a summer of entertainment, Grand-style.  (Rain Date: July 5th!)

NOTE: In order to keep everyone safe, there’s some information you need to know, so please be sure to read all of the fine-print information on The Grand’s ticket page. We know it’s a lot, and we know the formatting makes it tricky to read… but everyone’s new at this, so there are some ground rules we need to play by.

Some highlights: No restrooms will be available! No food/drink will be available for purchase. See? Aren’t you happy you know that?  There’s other equally-important stuff in there. So really, read the fine print on the ticket page.)

Our 15-minute afternoon
“Coffee Break Concerts”
are still rolling along!
Whether you’re working from home, working from work, homeschooling your kids, or anxiety-scrolling in bed for 19 hours a day, everyone needs a coffee break. It’s practically the law!

So join us for a quick 15 minute coffee break concert, now every Wednesday and Friday from 3:00 – 3:15pm EDT. We’ve been at this since March 30th, and we’re planning on going until July 31st, or whenever the world starts to feel normal-ish again. (so… 2084?)

We certainly don’t expect anyone to come to all of these. But there might be a day you want to feel a little less isolated, and a little more dorky. Let us help!

To attend the show live, just go to our Facebook Page at around 2:58pm on Wednesdays or Fridays (, and click the video that says “LIVE” on it.  If you miss the show, have to fear, they’re all archived on our Facebook page under the “videos” section.

(Please note: Tomorrow (Friday, June 26th) we’ll be performing a one-hour concert at night, so there won’t be a 3pm coffeebreak concert.)

We’ll say a quick hello, play three or four songs, and get you on your way.  You don’t need a Facebook account to attend, but if you want to participate in the chat, you’ll need to log in.

15 minutes! That’s it!   No guilt, no obligation, no payment, no pants.

So come hang out if you need a quick afternoon break.  We’ll be here. <3

Until then… Sending everyone much love; wishing everyone
continued patience, vigilance, and kindness.

Jill and Matt
