Lizzie: The Musical: Friday Sept 15, 8PM

City Theater Company; 4 South Poplar, Wilmington, DE

September 15, 2017 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm City Theater Company; 4 South Poplar, Wilmington, DE

City Theater Company in Wilmington Delaware kicks off its 24th season with the Delaware premiere of Lizzie, a blistering rock opera based on the life and legend of the notorious accused murderess Lizzie Borden.  Four women front a six-piece rock band to tell the tale of rage, sex, betrayal, and murder!

This is a hard-rock musical.  So don’t think “Broadway rock” like Rent… think hard-rock like Ozzy, Guns ‘n’ Roses, Aerosmith, and Heart.  It’s loud, it’s bloody, and it’s AMAZING.  And if you think Jill can sing, wait until you hear this cast! And the band is on fire!

While this isn’t really a Hot Breakfast! gig, Jill will be on stage lending her rockin’ pipes to this incredible new musical… and Matt will be working backstage.  So come support your favorite dork-rock power duo!  Jill plays Lizzie Borden’s older and angry sister Emma Borden.

Check out the reviews!

The reviews are in and they are absolutely GUSHING with praise! And Jill gets plenty of kudos and love.
