Just like a regular orchestra, The Rock Orchestra programs a season of diverse music and presents it at venues in the area. This is The Rock Orchestra’s inaugural year, and there are SO many great shows planned!
Matt and I are thrilled to be members of this exceptional, All-Star group of passionate and talented musicians.
In January 2018, The Rock Orchestra tackles one of the greatest songwriters in rock history by presenting the early works of Bruce Springsteen. TRO will perform The Boss’ first three recordings in their entirety. From the low key beginnings of ‘Greetings From Asbury Park, NJ’, through the complex storytelling of ‘The Wild, The Innocent & The E Street Shuffle’, to the wall-of-sound powerhouse of ‘Born To Run’ this show captures the formative years of one America’s most recognized artists.
Jill will be providing backing and occasional lead vocals and percussion; Matt will be playing sax. Brace yourself for a high-energy show!
We’ll have two performances; the first one will be at The Queen on January 20th, and the second performance will be downstate at The Milton Theatre in Milton, DE on January 27th.
